JOB DETAILS:
Location: Mansa, Zambia
Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and general accounting functions while ensuring compliance with Zambian financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS and Zambian tax laws.
-Oversee general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
-Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
-Ensure compliance with Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and tax authorities.
-Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
-Handle external audits and liaise with auditors.

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
-Registered with ZICA and holding a professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA Zambia.
-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
