JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Commissioning Engineer In this critical role, will lead the commissioning processes for complex systems and ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet our stringent quality standards. Your expertise will help us drive operational excellence and innovation within our projects.
- Lead and execute commissioning plans for mechanical, electrical, and control systems in alignment with project schedules and specifications.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system functionality and reliability, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and contractors to facilitate seamless communication and coordination throughout the commissioning process.
- Conduct system performance evaluations and troubleshooting, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Document commissioning activities and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in commissioning complex systems within the engineering or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations applicable to commissioning activities.
- Proven track record in managing commissioning projects from inception to completion.
Preferred: - Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant certifications.
- Experience with automation and control systems, including PLC programming and SCADA technologies.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of commissioning processes and best practices in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using commissioning management software and tools.
Experience with energy management systems and sustainability practices.
