Background
GGEM Farming, a rapidly growing, farmer-first food systems enterprise working across Malawi and Southern Africa is hiring a Snr Fundraising Administrator to drive our 2026 global fundraising strategy. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented and ambitious professional with strong experience in grant writing, research, donor engagement, and strategic fundraising.
Location
Remote, with periodic travel to Malawi
Contract Type
Full-time
Responsibilities
- Lead GGEM's global fundraising pipeline
- Manage donor relationships across US, Europe, and Africa
- Drive applications and referral-based fundraising
- Lead research and proposal development
- Support debt financing preparation
- Coordinate storytelling and impact documentation
- Strengthen internal processes and team capacity
- Work closely with the Co-Founder on strategic growth
Must Have
- Minimum 5+ years of fundraising experience
- Demonstrated success writing competitive grants
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Experience with climate, agriculture, or economic development sectors
- Strong project management and multi-tasking
- Ability to work well remotely and across cultures
- Ambition, discipline, and passion for impact
