Our Client a Company in Hospitality seeks to recruit a Senior Reservations Consultant to be based in Livingstone Southern Province, Zambia.

Job Title: Senior Reservations Consultant

Location: Livingstone, Zambia

Reports To: Island Manager

The Role:

The Senior Reservation Consultant oversees the reservations team, ensuring seamless booking processes and exceptional customer service. Manage high-profile bookings, optimize reservation strategies, and liaise with key stakeholders to enhance guest experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise the reservations team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in bookings.
  • Handle VIP and complex reservations, coordinating special requests and personalized experiences.
  • Develop and implement reservation policies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and tour operators.
  • Analyze booking trends and provide reports to management for strategic planning.
  • Train and mentor junior reservation staff, ensuring high service standards.
  • Resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reservations or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Core Competencies:

  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about sustainability
