JOB DETAILS:
Description
To ensure the provision of a dedicated, professional Security Investigations section by providing quality leadership to DCP Zambia Security Investigation Section capable of protecting company personnel and assets.
· Investigation of incidents and occurrences as directed by the HOD
· Analysing computer systems and networks following a crime.
· Recovering data that was either destroyed or damaged and Gathering evidence.
· Gathering computer and network information.
· Preparing expert reports on highly complex technical matters and testifying in court.
· Recovering password-protected/encrypted files and hidden information.
· Assessing software applications, networks, and endpoints for security flaws.
· Identify and recommend methods for the preservation and presentation of evidence
· Design and implement Security Information Systems Policies and Procedures.
· Develop, implement and manage data security on Security Information Systems.
· Administration of Security Information Systems which include Online Intelligence Systems, Security Centre Manager, Security Desk, Vehicle Tracking, ID Flow.
· Plan and execute projects, providing the necessary diagrams, documentations, reports and support.
· Actively monitor systems and their related statistics; effectively troubleshoot system issues or problems as needed.
· Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and offer viable recommendations.
· Effectively log, manage and communicate any issues and communicate escalating issues in a timely manner.
· Mentor and train new hires and existing staff as required in use of Security Information Systems.
· Be visible in the workplace.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements
· Degree in Computer Science / Security Studies or related field
. At least 5 years’ experience in the commercial field.
. Full grade twelve School certificate
· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and show a commitment to understand local culture and impart your mining operations and technical knowledge to the local Zambian mine operations personnel.
· Proven ability to deliver results and act as a change agent.
· Demonstrated ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness.
· High level understanding of all relevant legislation affecting the employment and safety of persons.
· Demonstrated application of continuous improvement ideas
Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
