Background

Builders Warehouse is looking for dedicated team members to join our Kitwe store. We have openings for both Service Assistants and Retail Assistants to support our operations and deliver excellent customer service.

Summary

To pick stocks as per the picking slip and deliver them to the picking area specified by a team leader or manager for collection and delivery for the benefit of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick stock: Wear BIBs, check quality/quantity, draw correct stock per invoice/picking slip
• Load items: Load/offload stock from customer/delivery vehicles, accompany drivers, merchandise incoming stock
• Satisfy customers: Handle customers per company standards, present positive image, assist customers
• Housekeeping: Maintain neat internal/external yard, pack stock in allocated areas, perform general cleaning
• Safety Awareness: Wear correct PPE, follow safety procedures, maintain material handling equipment

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 1-2 Years’ Experience
• Physically able to lift bulk stock
• Customer focused and helpful
