About the role:
We are looking for skilled Sewing Machine Operators (35). The selected operators will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines. The selected Operators will attend a short course on operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operation of the sewing machine
- Inspect sewn materials to ensure that seams meet the specifications and make adjustments if needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to sewing machines or the sewing process.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating sewing machines and handling materials.
- Maintain accurate records of sewing activities, including machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operating industrial sewing machines, preferably in leather or clothing manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of sewing techniques, sewing machine operation, and material properties (especially leather).
- Technical training in sewing or a related field is preferred.
