Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will oversee food preparation, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure consistent quality and efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise food preparation and ensure quality and presentation standards are met
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
  • Step in to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Support menu preparation and special events or functions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Professional Cookery
  • Minimum 3–5 years of kitchen experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
