The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that all equipment, facilities, and systems are properly maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage resources effectively.

Your mission:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify and resolve issues.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train and mentor team members to improve technical and safety skills.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals.

Your Profile:

  • Advanced Technician Certificate, Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • TL2 as an added advantage
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience on Underground Epiroc Trucks and Loaders, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, Hydraulics, Electrical, RCS and Mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Budget management and resource allocation experience.
