Key Responsibilities:

    • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
    • Perform installation and commissioning of hardware and software systems at the client site.
    • Provide remote and on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance.
    • Maintain detailed records and documentation of service activities.
    • Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and providing training to customers.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of WEIR Motion Metrics products.
    • Maintain excellent quality of installation and service activities on the customer site.
    • Act as WEIR Motion Metrics ambassador on the customer site.
    • Adhere to the Safety, Health and Environmental Policies.
    • Always adhere to the Duty of Care policy.
    • Plan and conduct product installations, commissioning of new equipment and maintenance
    • Carry out equipment inspections and provide the required feedback / reports to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support clients by conducting regular meetings with maintenance teams, troubleshooting and providing solutions with the input of the client and Support Services Team.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and maintenance Departments to ensure that tasks are completed, while adhering to quality control measures.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • IT Professional Certified or Qualified Artisan with IT experience
  • 3 – 5 years of experience, dealing with installations in the Mining industry/heavy machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • In-depth troubleshooting of: Windows OS, Windows Server, Linux, SQL, MySQL, SMTP, POP, VPN
