JOB DETAILS:
Background information about the job or company:
Puma Energy is seeking a Tax Accountant to assist the Finance Manager in effectively managing the taxes of the country in line with the tax framework defined by Group/Regional Tax.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate preparation of monthly tax computations
- File tax returns accurately and timely
- Implement tax control processes for cash flow management
- Coordinate tax audits and legal proceedings
- Keep abreast with new tax developments and manage tax risks
Qualifications:
- Degree in Tax/Accounting
- At least 5 years' experience in Tax or tax accounting
- Good knowledge of mid & downstream oil & gas' indirect taxes
Experience needed:
At least 5 years' experience in Tax or tax accounting
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
