BACKGROUND

The school was owned and run by Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) from 1973 to 1999. In January 2015, it became a self-sustaining, state-owned enterprise. The school is multi-cultural with enrolment from Primary to Secondary School.

POSITION: TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS AND ANY NATURAL SCIENCE

Engagement: September, 2026

JOB SUMMARY:

Teach learners holistically from Form 1 to Grade 12.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 25 to 35 years of age
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Bachelor’s Degree with Education from a reputable university
• Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach learners from Form 1 to Grade 12
• Prepare quality tests and administer them on time
• Assess learners’ performance and provide timely feedback
• Form learners holistically
• Provide parental guidance and counselling to learners

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
