Position Summary

The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the technical department and overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security systems. The role requires a solution-driven professional who can manage technical teams, ensure high-quality service delivery, and provide innovative security solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the technical team to achieve high performance and service excellence.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and related technologies.
  • Assess client security requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Ensure all technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement technical policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular training and mentorship programs for technical staff.
  • Monitor emerging security technologies and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
  • Prepare technical reports, project updates, proposals, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree, Diploma, or professional certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Security Systems Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a technical management role within the security industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic security systems and technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
