Position Summary
The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the technical department and overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security systems. The role requires a solution-driven professional who can manage technical teams, ensure high-quality service delivery, and provide innovative security solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop the technical team to achieve high performance and service excellence.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and related technologies.
- Assess client security requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Ensure all technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement technical policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular training and mentorship programs for technical staff.
- Monitor emerging security technologies and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
- Prepare technical reports, project updates, proposals, and presentations for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Degree, Diploma, or professional certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Security Systems Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a technical management role within the security industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic security systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
