JOB DETAILS:
Application Solutions Zambia Limited is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the position of Technical Sales Consultant. He/She will use technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of ICT and Energy solutions and products, for which certain level of expertise is needed. The Technical Sales Consultant will be a key point of contact for customers.

The key responsibilities will be:
• To search for new clients for solutions and products on offer
• Develop long term relationship with clients through managing and interpreting their expectations
• To respond to Tenders, RFQs, RFPs and Expression of Interest requests from various customers and clients.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance
• Provide leadership to the technical team as Group Leader
• Contract Management
• Provide training and technical support to the sales team

The qualifications and experience required for this position are:
• Must have a degree or diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Computer Science with experience in ICT and Energy solutions.
• Possession of ICT, Solar and renewable Energy Certifications will be an advantage.
• Must have minimum five years’ experience
• Must be a member of EIZ
• Must have good Sales and communication skills with a solid technical background.
