Job summary
We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Teller to join our payment solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, handling cash, assisting clients with payment services, and ensuring excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and other payment services.
- Receive, verify, and issue cash accurately.
- Maintain accurate daily transaction records and reconcile cash balances.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries.
- Promote company products and services.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and fraud prevention controls.
- Identify and report suspicious transactions or operational issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Prepare daily cash and transaction reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement).
- Previous experience as a teller, cashier, mobile money agent, banking assistant, or customer service officer is preferred.
- Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and transaction systems).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
