Position Overview

The Teller/Sales representative is responsible for cash verification and banking and selling company products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Banking Cash
  • Selling company products
  • Recruitment of Merchants
  • Managing relationships with Merchants

As well as above, any other duties given by management.

Accountability and Performance Measures

  • Accountable for banking
  • Accountable for selling company products.
  • Merchant Recruitment
  • Relationship Management
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager to drive sales performance within the assigned region, with a strong focus on acquiring and onboarding new merchants across all distribution channels.
  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager to proactively identify, target, and recruit high-value merchants to grow the customer base and expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure merchant satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement.
  • Actively manage and grow the merchant portfolio through retention strategies and consistent upselling of products and services.
  • Provide ongoing support to merchants in line with company standards, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills to consistently convert prospects into active merchants.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Diploma in Business related qualification
  • 1 year experience in similar position

Personality Qualities

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as the system calls.
  • Quick to attend to queries.
  • GO getter.
  • Self-driven
