BACKGROUND

The Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) is a membership-based organization that operates in the agricultural sector. The Union desires to engage an organization to undertake a valuation and coding exercise of its fixed assets.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The fixed assets will be valued to arrive at figures that will be used in the books of accounts, and the coding of the assets will among others make it easy to identify the Union’s fixed assets. In particular, the successful bidder will be required to provide the following services:

i. Valuation of the Union’s fixed assets, i.e., furniture & fittings, real property, computer equipment, other equipment, etc.

ii. Coding and placement of codes on the valued fixed assets according to asset category.

iii. Compilation of the Fixed Asset Register.

QUALIFICATIONS

The team leader on the assignment must be professionally qualified to provide the requested service and duly registered with an appropriate professional body.

COMPANY PROFILE

The bidder is required to submit a company profile.

PAYMENT TERMS

The bidder is required to include a quotation and the proposed payment terms for undertaking the assignment.

DELIVERY PERIOD

The successful bidder is expected to complete the assignment within a period of two weeks.

REFERENCE OF SIMILAR ASSIGNMENTS

The bidder is required to submit at least three references comprised of clients where they have rendered a similar service.

LANGUAGE OF BID DOCUMENT

The language of the bid document should be English.
