JOB PURPOSE
To safely operate company trucks on local and international routes, ensuring timely delivery of cargo while complying with company procedures, road safety standards, and regional transport regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks safely on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate trip and cargo documentation
- Handle Proof of Delivery (PODs) correctly
- Maintain constant communication with the Fleet Manager
- Comply with traffic laws, border regulations, and company policies
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the assigned truck
- Uphold professionalism and customer service standards
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Passed the relevant driving assessment
- Hold a valid Class D driving licence
- Minimum 4 years’ driving experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in international trips
- Be 26 years of age or older
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Have no criminal record
- Possess valid fingerprints with at least six (6) months validity
- Successfully pass the company’s background verification check
- Valid BELSAM, ITC OR ENEC Dangerous Goods Certificates
DRIVING TEST INFORMATION
Driving tests will be conducted from 15th January to 24th January 2026
Venue: Chambishi Yard
Candidates may also visit the Kitwe Head Office at Mudzi House, after the ZRA Office, along Independence Avenue Road
Successful candidates will be required to start work immediately
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS

- Application letter and detailed CV
- Proof of ability to read and write
- Certified fingerprints
- Copy of valid passport (with border stamps where applicable)
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Valid CE-Class / PSV licence (where applicable)
- Recent medical report
- BELSAM / ENAC or ITC certification
- Copy of National Registration Card (NRC)
- At least three (3) traceable references from previous employers
