JOB DETAILS:
PURPOSE
To assist clubhouse patrons by; noting their orders, serving their tables the requested meals, and preparing bills at the end of the table’s meal

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
• Work with kitchen staff to process and expedite food delivery
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Use established food handling and serving techniques
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Check products for quality
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning
• Any other duties as directed by the Supervisor, FOH.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of a Full Grade Twelve School (Grade 12) Certificate.
• Certificate in food production/catering from a recognized institution

EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of two years’ work experience as a waiter.
