Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching materials and finished products. The role ensures inventory accuracy, optimal warehouse layout, and smooth coordination with production and quality teams to support efficient operations and high material standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, count, inspect, and record all incoming and outgoing raw materials, auxiliary materials, semi-finished products, spare parts, and finished goods, ensuring consistency between physical stock and system records.
  • Verify quantities, specifications, and documentation against purchase orders, production orders, and delivery notes to prevent discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Inspection Department to ensure materials meet required quality standards before acceptance.
  • Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout, assigning storage locations based on category, batch, and turnover rate (e.g., fast-moving items near entrances/exits, slow-moving items at the back).
  • Establish and manage location codes and labeling systems for easy traceability and stock organization.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, safe, and compliant with standards — including fire prevention, moisture control, pest control, and theft prevention.
  • Implement security and monitoring protocols, particularly for high-value or theft-prone materials (e.g., hardware components).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory ledgers, ensuring perfect alignment among records, cards, and physical stock.
  • Conduct dynamic stocktaking, cycle counts, and periodic full inventory checks to maintain near-100% accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving items, working with the PMC (Production Material Control) Department to drive inventory optimization and reduce holding costs.
  • Lead and develop a large warehouse team (100+ employees) to ensure high efficiency, accountability, and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or inventory management.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience leading large teams (100+ members) with a focus on performance management and process improvement.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
