About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and effectively
  • Load and unload deliveries
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Education & Certification

  • High school certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent) is typically the minimum requirement.
  • Logistics or warehouse training is an added advantage.
  • Forklift license/certification preferred.

Experience

  • 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Having knowledge in receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, and inventory control.
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts if required

Skills & Competencies

  • Physically fit: able to stand for long periods.
  • Attention to detail: accuracy in labeling, stock placement, and documentation.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy for handling counts and paperwork.
  • Computer/data entry skills for warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Time management and organizational skills to meet daily targets.
  • Communication skills for coordination with drivers, supervisors, and other departments.

Personal Attributes

  • Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping.
  • Team player with a cooperative attitude.
  • Safety-conscious, following SOPs and using PPE correctly.
