About the role:

We are seeking warehouse workers (20) who will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including handling raw materials, spare parts, consumables, semi-finished, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the receiving and unloading of materials and products delivered to the warehouse.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments, check for damages, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse manager
  • Safely move materials to the appropriate storage areas.
  • Pick and pack materials and finished products according to order specifications.
  • Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged and correctly labelled.
  • Assist in loading products onto delivery vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols when operating machinery and handling heavy items.
  • Use warehouse management software to record stock movements and update inventory levels.
  • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Grade 12 Certificate  or equivalent is preferred
  • Basic computer skills for using warehouse software.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand, walk, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Valid driving license for forklift vehicles, according to the Zambian regulations (not a must, but would be nice)
