JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement waste management plans and procedures.
2. Coordinate with waste collection vendors, recycling facilities, and disposal sites.
3. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding waste disposal.
4. Conduct waste audits to identify areas for improvement and optimize waste reduction.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including waste generators, haulers, and regulatory agencies.
6. Monitor and report on waste management performance metrics, including diversion rates and waste reduction targets.
7. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-effective waste management solutions.
8. Provide training and guidance to employees on proper waste handling and disposal procedures.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of waste management activities.
10. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce waste generation.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field.
– 2-3 years of experience in waste management or a related field.
– Knowledge of waste management regulations, policies, and procedures.
– Strong communication and project management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
