WE ARE HIRING – WORKSHOP MANAGER

Location: Kitwe Office

Auto Magic Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our Kitwe branch.

Responsibilities or duties

• Supervise workshop activities, ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed on time
• Assign tasks to technicians based on skill level and job priority
• Panel beating, mechanical, and electrical repair oversight
• Provide technical guidance to technicians on complex issues
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to verify repair quality
• Maintain calibration and servicing of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Train, coach, and evaluate technicians’ performance
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding repair progress, costs, and timelines
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and maintenance logs

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Diploma or certificate from Nortec or TEVETA in Mechanics
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Honest, organized, and dependable

Experience needed

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
