WE ARE HIRING – Academic Head Teacher

Acacia School in Livingstone is seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Head Teacher to provide strategic leadership in teaching and learning and to drive academic excellence across the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the Zambian–Cambridge hybrid curriculum.
• Monitor teaching standards through lesson observations and academic planning.
• Mentor and support teachers through performance management and professional development.
• Monitor student progress, assessment, and reporting.
• Oversee examinations and ensure compliance with Ministry of Education and Cambridge standards.
• Promote student achievement, enrichment activities, and holistic development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the school leadership team to strengthen academic standards, support staff development, and contribute to the continued growth of Acacia School.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
