Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong accounting principles in daily operations
• Support financial compliance with Zambian tax legislation, including tax rebates and exemption procedures
• Prepare and submit accurate financial reports
• Manage accounting records using accounting software and advanced Excel
• Ensure deadlines are consistently met with attention to detail and integrity

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Partial or full ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA qualifications will be given preference
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably within educational or nonprofit organizations
• Proficiency in accounting software applications and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Thorough understanding of Zambian tax legislation
• High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and strong deadline management
