1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting to guide financial planning.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.

2. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Implement and oversee internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

3. Operational Finance

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Resolve discrepancies in financial records and maintain accurate ledgers.

4. Policy & Process Development

• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting frameworks.

5. Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide technical accounting input to management.
• Mentor and support junior accountants or interns, ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate across departments to align financial practices with organizational goals.
