JOB DETAILS:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to lead our accounts department. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of our financial operations and play a key role in shaping the future of our internal accounting function.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounts department, currently comprising a consultant and an accounts clerk. We are looking for someone with solid experience in general accounting who can confidently manage the department and ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all accounting operations
Oversee and support the accounts clerk and collaborate with the external consultant
Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with applicable standards
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
Monitor day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping
Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed

Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting
Proven experience leading or managing an accounting team or department
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA) will be an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
