WE ARE HIRING – ACCOUNTANT

Elara Development Corporation Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Lusaka.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial records and reports in compliance with Zambian accounting standards.
• Manage tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, CIT, WHT, NAPSA, and NHIMA.
• Process invoices and maintain the Smart Invoice System.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with audits and financial reporting.
• Liaise with ZRA, PACRA, banks, and other regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Zambian tax and financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
• ZICA Graduate Membership (Licentiate, ACCA, or CIMA is an added advantage).
• Minimum 3+ years’ accounting experience in Zambia.
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Zambian tax laws and the Smart Invoice System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must be based in Lusaka or willing to relocate and start immediately.
