ACCOUNTANT

Favour Investments Limited’s Favour Food Palace, a fast-growing fast food restaurant based in Chipata, Eastern Province, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and produce timely financial reports.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including food cost analysis and margin tracking.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective action.
• Track daily expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee stores management, inventory controls, and stock reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal financial policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
• ZAQA certified Academic qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and expense tracking.
• Proven ability to manage stores/inventory in a food service or retail setting is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
