Background
Sabot Zambia Limited, a trusted cross border hauling company with proven record of enabling its customers' success by delivering of superior service through cost-effective, reliable, safe and efficient movement of cargo while creating value through operating efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
Main Responsibilities
Reconcile prepayment accounts
Supervise petty cash
Account for Subcontractors
Expense Analysis and Reporting
Accounts Reconciliations at month end
Check entries performed by Assistant Accountant before system posting
Statutory Accounts Reporting-PAYE, NAPSA
Ensure that accounting reports are accurate and reported on time
Perform any other duties assigned by superiors
Qualifications and Experience
ACCA, CIMA, Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related qualifications
Must be a member of ZICA
Full Grade 12 Certificate
At least three years post-qualification experience
Experience in the transport industry, an added advantage
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
