JOB DETAILS:

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in accounting to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Key Requirements

RESIDENCY: Mumbwa residents ONLY

• Must be a zica member
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE PASTEL
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with statutory obligations
• Help maintain and update financial records and ledgers
• Prepare financial statements and reports under supervision
• Support month-end closing processes
• Assist with bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliations

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
