Background

Empire Cote Infrastructure Group (ECIG) is a Zambian engineering and infrastructure company with over 20 years of experience delivering engineering, construction, and project management solutions. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Administrative & Accounts Intern to support our administrative and operational functions.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or current student seeking practical experience in administration, accounting, and project support within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support.
  • Assist with filing, document management, and data entry.
  • Deliver and collect documents from government institutions, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Support tender and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with basic accounting and office administration tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's licence is required.
  • Valid passport is an added advantage.
  • Willing and able to travel to project locations as required.
