Chreso Ministries is a well-established faith-based organisation committed to holistic Christian service through the provision of quality healthcare, education, and community development programmes. The organisation operates a hospital, multiple health facilities, community outreach initiatives, and schools across Zambia. In line with its mission to serve with excellence, integrity, and compassion, Chreso Ministries invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individual to fill the following position.Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate professional competence, strong ethical values, and a commitment to advancing the organisation's Christian ethos and service mandate.

Position: Ambulance Driver

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the ambulance to transport patients to and from healthcare facilities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and ensure timely transportation.
  • Assist medical personnel in handling patients when necessary.
  • Ensure the ambulance is clean, well-maintained, and properly equipped at all times.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate transport and mileage records.
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and organizational policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class C or above) with clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in driving, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Basic First Aid Training (added advantage)
  • Good knowledge of local routes
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
