Position: Ambulance Driver
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the ambulance to transport patients to and from healthcare facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and ensure timely transportation.
- Assist medical personnel in handling patients when necessary.
- Ensure the ambulance is clean, well-maintained, and properly equipped at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate transport and mileage records.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and organizational policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or above) with clean driving record
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in driving, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Basic First Aid Training (added advantage)
- Good knowledge of local routes
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Responsible and reliable
- Compassionate and patient-oriented
- Honest and trustworthy
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
