Background
In line with our corporate priorities aimed at ensuring optimization of revenue collection and increased tax compliance on one hand and the need to effectively manage the numerous challenges and opportunities in the fast-changing business environment on the other, we are seeking highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant position:
POSITION: DATA ANALYTICS FUNCTION
A. PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Senior Analyst – Data Governance, the job holder will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures and standards as well as monitor and enforce data management practices across the organization.
B. MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of data standards to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Apply data governance principles and guidelines to support data stewardship efforts.
- Support data projects and process improvement to optimize data workflows and accessibility.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with data governance best practices.
- Support data-driven decision making across the organization by providing accurate and reliable data.
- Contribute to the development and reporting of data governance metrics to measure performance and progress.
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures to support data management and analytics initiatives.
- Support data governance initiatives and projects to ensure effective data management and utilization.
C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 School Certificate or General Certificate of Education with at least five (5) Credits;
- University Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology or related quantitative field from a recognized institution;
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualifying work experience in a similar role.
