Background
The North Western Provincial Health Office, under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below, to be employed on a ten (10) month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Job Purpose
To provide effectively HIV Prevention, care and treatment services in order to achieve Clinical Outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- HIV Case Identification: Undertakes effectively HIV Testing Services in order to facilitate linkage to care.
- Treatment Services: Undertakes effectively care and treatment of HIV/TB patients in order to facilitate improved Clinical Outcomes.
- Retention: Undertakes effectively the provision of retention services in order to facilitate adherence to treatment.
- Viral Load: Undertakes effectively the monitoring of viral load in HIV/TB patients in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.
- Prevention: Undertakes effectively the provision of HIV prevention services in order to reduce new infections.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Local Language.
- Integrity, confidentiality and interpersonal skills.

NOTE: Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)-verified qualification documents will be an added advantage for all applications submitted under this announcement.
