Overview

We are recruiting!

Our client in Zambia is looking for a Assistant Remanufacturing Technician to join their team within the Mining Manufacturing Equipment Industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safe work practices relevant to workshop operations.
  • Collaborate under supervision to clean, disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test components in line with established procedures and standards.
  • Ensure remanufactured components meet the quality levels defined by applicable standards and company policies.
  • Operate remanufacturing tools and equipment according to prescribed procedures to maintain product quality.
  • Safely use forklifts for loading/unloading trucks, moving stock, and picking parts.
  • Store materials in designated areas as directed by the supervisor.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently while upholding standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare jobs thoroughly and submit all required documentation promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop floor and tools at the end of each shift, returning tools to the tool store.
  • Follow all documentation requirements, including work orders, technical drawings, operation notes, and quality procedures, for each repair and remanufacturing process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Diploma or Higher Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair, Mechanical Engineering, and minimum three (2) years related experience in Remanufacturing of Heavy Mining Components
