About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organized and detail-oriented Assistant Workshop Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative and inventory functions of our workshop department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all petty cash transactions.
  • Assist the Workshop Foreman in opening, updating, and maintaining job cards for vehicle repairs and servicing.
  • Monitor and record inventory levels, including oils, lubricants, and other workshop consumables.
  • Assist with stock control and general stores management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle files and workshop records.
  • Prepare and update workshop documentation and reports as required.
  • Perform any other administrative duties assigned in support of workshop operations.

Requirements and Experience

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Stores Management, Business Studies or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy in record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
