JOB DETAILS:

The Required Skills for this Role Include: 

• Checking, repairing and maintaining and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles. Repairing defective engines or engine components and service.
• Performing thorough inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.
• Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
• Conducting test drives to evaluate performance and identify issues not apparent during static inspections
• Conducting Preventative Maintenance
• Making necessary adjustments to vehicle systems and performing alignments to ensure optimal performance.
• Discussing vehicle issues with customers, providing clear explanations, and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance
• Keeping detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Auto-Mechanics or Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Auto-Mechanics
• At least a holder of a basic Driving License
• Must be a Member of EIZ
