About the Bar Man Role at Dreamscape Events
As a Bar Man with Dreamscape Events, you will be responsible for managing bar operations efficiently during events, ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous service. Your role will be integral in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while accurately handling sales and stock records to support smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with customer preferences and event requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout events.
- Record sales accurately and manage cash or electronic transactions responsibly.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management during and after events.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification of Grade 12 certificate.
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation and mixing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with stock control or point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role will be highly regarded.
- Experience working in events, clubs, or the hospitality industry is beneficial.
