JOB DETAILS:
Certification Required: Craft Certificate in Boilermaking.
- Primary Responsibility: Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures and components.
- Key Duties:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using tools like welders, grinders, and drills.
- Perform welding (e.g., arc, MIG) to join metal parts.
- Conduct repairs on plant equipment, pipes, chutes, and other mine infrastructure.
- Inspect boilers, pressure vessels, and tanks for defects.
- Adhere to strict quality and safety standards during all fabrication and repair work.
