JOB DETAILS:
Palabana Dairy Cooperative is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Capture payments and receipts in the accounting system
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Manage and account for petty cash float
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Support audits and provide required documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Accounting / ZICA Technician / Finance or related field
- Knowledge of financial management systems
- Experience maintaining cash books and financial records
- Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Experience with accounting packages (Sage Pastel is an added advantage)
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
