Job Purpose

The Brewing Intern supports the brewing team in daily production activities. The role provides hands-on experience in beer brewing processes, quality control, hygiene, and safety procedures within a brewery environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in beer brewing and production processes
• Support cleaning and sanitizing of brewing equipment and work areas
• Assist in monitoring fermentation and brewing parameters
• Support quality control checks and record keeping
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Assist with inventory of brewing materials and supplies
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Brewing Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Natural Sciences.
• Basic understanding of brewing or food production processes is an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to work in a production environment
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
