Background

Breath of Heaven Children’s Ministries (BOHCM) is a registered NGO committed to transforming lives through holistic care, education, and skills development for orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. Located in Barlastone Park, Lusaka, the Ministry operates a Children’s Village, a primary and secondary school, a medical clinic, a community church, and is near completion of a Vocational Training College (VTC) aimed at delivering quality post-secondary technical education to our children and the surrounding community.

We are inviting applications from qualified and committed Part-Time Lecturer in Bricklaying and Plastering to support the delivery of practical, competency-based training at our VTC Students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Bricklaying and Plastering in line with the approved vocational syllabus
• Plan and deliver engaging theory and hands-on practical lessons
• Assess, record, and report on students’ academic and practical progress
• Ensure safe use of workshops, tools, and materials
• Instill good workmanship, safety standards, and work ethics
• Participate in departmental and institutional academic activities as required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Craft Certificate in Bricklaying and Plastering or higher qualification
• Valid teaching qualification or proof of pedagogical training
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
• Strong practical skills and ability to demonstrate trade competencies
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a committed and practicing Christian

Added Advantage

• Previous teaching or industry experience
• Experience handling practical vocational training sessions

Level of Education: high school
