Reformed Open Community Schools (ROCS), in partnership with RCZ Diaconia Response (RCZ-DR), is implementing the SAFECHILD Project with financial support from the European Union. As part of the project, ROCS invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individual consultants or consulting firms to undertake the development of standardized advocacy toolkits, position papers, and practical guidelines to support the effective implementation of the Children's Code Act No. 12 of 2022.

Responsibilities or duties

  • The assignment will involve reviewing existing advocacy materials and relevant legal and policy frameworks, engaging key stakeholders, developing standardized advocacy resources, facilitating a validation workshop, and producing finalized advocacy materials for dissemination.

Qualifications or requirements 

  • Interested consultants or firms should possess demonstrated expertise in child rights programming, legal and policy analysis, advocacy, communications, and the development of knowledge products.

Experience needed

  • Experience working with government institutions, civil society organizations, and development partners on child protection and policy advocacy assignments will be an added advantage.

The consultancy is expected to be completed within 30 working days.
