About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter with specialized expertise in flat roofing systems to join our professional construction team on a Project. The ideal candidate will be a craftsperson who takes immense pride in their work, with a deep understanding of the techniques required to construct durable, long-lasting, and watertight flat roofs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain a residential flat roofing system
• Prepare roof decks to the highest standard, including the installation of appropriate insulation, vapor barriers, and cover boards.
• Accurately apply different waterproofing membranes, such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, or modified bitumen.
• Expertly create and install critical detailing, including flashings, drip edges, parapet walls, and roof penetrations to ensure complete weatherproofing.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturers' installation guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, particularly those related to working at heights.
• Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
• Perform general carpentry and finishing work as required by the project.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience as a Carpenter.
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience specifically with flat roof construction and repair is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of roof deck preparation, insulation materials, and various waterproofing application methods.
• Proficiency with the hand and power tools required for carpentry and roofing.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Must hold a craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery or related
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Must provide traceable references
