Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable Cashiers to handle transactions and provide excellent customer service at our new Quick Service Restaurant in Ndola. This role is key to ensuring smooth and accurate operations at the front of house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy.
- Provide friendly and professional service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Handle cash, card payments, and mobile money transactions, providing correct change.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts and report discrepancies to the Floor Supervisor.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed during busy periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a QSR or retail environment.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail in cash handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic technology.
- Must be a Copperbelt resident or willing to relocate to Ndola.
