About the Role

This is a full-time, remote position based in Zambia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for guests and staff, ensuring taste, quality, and presentation meet lodge standards.
• Cater to a variety of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, and guest preferences.
• Maintain consistency and creativity in daily menus and special occasions.
• Plan seasonal and daily menus in consultation with management.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure smooth meal delivery.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff, promoting teamwork, efficiency, and kitchen discipline.
