Mungwi Park Gardens, a beautiful and serene venue located in Mungwi, is seeking a qualified Chef to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, high-quality meals to our guests in a peaceful garden setting perfect for events, dining, and special occasions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of local and international dishes with creativity and consistency
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently during peak hours
- Ensure proper storage and inventory of kitchen supplies
- Work closely with the service team to deliver excellent guest experiences
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, lodge, or hospitality setting
- Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field (added advantage)
- Strong knowledge of Zambian cuisine and international dishes
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours (including weekends)
- Passion for food, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be female as per the specific requirements of the role
