CHINESE CHEF

African Panorama Investment Group Limited is a comprehensive group corporation with construction installation, real estate development, and overseas investment as its primary businesses and property management, garden greening, and project ornamentation as its supporting businesses. We are seeking to employee a Chinese Chef

KEY DUTIES:

• Strong experience in Chinese cuisine including all varieties of noodles and rice
• Deep knowledge of every aspect of Chinese dishes
• Proficient with BBQ and Chinese specialty equipment
• Procure all food stuff
• Ensuring cooked food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
• Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
• Overseeing all kitchen operations.
• Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
• Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends.
• Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
• Ensuring that the kitchen is clean at all times
• Follows proper safety, hygiene and sanitation practices; and
• Any other duties assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 1 Year work experience with traceable references
• General Hospitality or Food production Certification from a recognized institution is an added advantage
